Holiday Fun! Treat ideas and a Life Update

Christmas Tree Ice Cream Cones and a Month of Cousin Fun!

Hey everyone! I am so excited to say that I am back home from the University of Arkansas for another winter break! The semester has been full with a busy school schedule and lots of activities, so I am glad to be back to relax for a month and work on some more Mogo fun for you guys! This week, I get to spend time with my younger cousins, Iris and Harry. I’m sure you’ve seen them all over Mogo by now! They are the sweetest kids full of love, and today we made a sweet treat to get ready for the Holiday fun coming up next week!

I found a great Christmas Tree treat/art project on Pinterest that I thought the kids would love! Using sugar cone Ice-cream cones (with the pointed ends) we frosted and decorated our very own Christmas trees! Iris got very creative and decided to “glue” marshmallows onto the trees with extra icing! She also had a fun time chasing me around with her sticky, icing filled hands :)

Iris was in charge of making the icing “magically” turn green!

Harry was more focussed on the “eating” aspect rather than the “working” aspect, but he was great at cheering us on!!

Getting to spend time with my cousins is so fun over break, especially since I go to school so far away. Each time I come home they have grown so much and have so many new things to show me! I can’t wait to spend the next month with them and the rest of my family. After all, that is what winter break and the holidays are all about!

Be on the lookout for some upcoming recipes, activities, and personal blogs these next few weeks! The Mogo team is so excited for everything that is coming up, and to grow this coming year!
